What areas do you cover?

We cover the whole of the North West including Greater Manchester, Merseyside, Cheshire, Cumbria and Lancashire.

How much do you charge?

We offer one hour packages from £90 to £140, one hour and a half packages from £125 to £160 and two hour packages from £160 to £195.

30-45 minute shows are available at off peak times Monday – Thursday (daytime & evening) and Sunday (evenings) from £70 to £110.

Party Entertainment Packages for over 2 hours are available (prices available on request).

How many children should we invite?

Most parties cater for around 30 children and as this is the average school class size it tends to work well.

What age groups are the best for your party entertainment?

Adrian entertains all age groups from 3 years up, however the ‘Magic & Mayhem’ show is aimed at 4-8 years and the ‘Circus Party’ from 6-106 years!!! If the children are slightly younger or older Adrian’ entertainment will be more impromptu using his variety of skills and performing whatever is required on the day.

Can you entertain at our home?

Yes I do a lot of parties in homes so as long as there is enough room to perform the magic with a space of approximately 2 metres between the children and the performance area, also a large enough area for the children to safely play the party games there isn’t a problem.

If you are having more than a dozen little guests probably worth thinking about hiring a venue such as a community hall it can save you a lot of stress!!!

If you are thinking about chancing the weather and having the party in the garden other things to consider are:

an extension for the power supply, somewhere comfortable for the children to sit, and maybe a gazebo for cover in case it rains.

Another factor to think about are the garden toys such as trampolines, swings, slides and any other possible distractions. It’s usually best to clear these away or make them inaccessible as the temptation might be too much for the children.

What’s a good time to have the party?

As weekends are a very busy time for children’s parties we like to offer two time slots for Birthday Parties held on a Saturday & Sunday.

These times are 11am -1pm or 3pm – 5pm.

So if you could be a little flexible with your time when booking with us that would really help.

Also having the party at one of these times frees up the rest of the day for children and their parents to be able to do other activities.

What happens if we need to cancel?

If for any reason you need to cancel the booking please let us know as soon as possible and we can try and work out an alternative date.

I’m sure you will understand as this is a full time job for us we do have bills to pay like everyone else so if the booking is cancelled with less than 28 days to go before the event you could be liable for the full amount if we cannot re-fill the date.

What happens if you are ill on the day of the party?

I have been very lucky in over 20 years of performing that I have not had to cancel an engagement due to illness so even if I am feeling a little under the weather I will be there to perform and no one will be any the wiser, however as we cannot predict the future if the unthinkable does happen and I am unable to attend the party I do have many contacts of other professional children entertainers that I have worked with over the years and I will do my utmost to get a replacement entertainer of the highest quality.

Do we need to supply the prizes?

Don’t worry about any prizes that all comes as part of the party entertainment package. All the children receive prizes in our non-elimination games!

How do we book you?

To make a booking you can either contact us via email, text or phone.

We will take down all the necessary details and send you a letter of confirmation for you to check that all the details we have are correct.

To secure the booking we do ask for a non refundable deposit of £25.

Do you have Public Liability?

Yes being a member of the Equity Union Adrian is insured for Public Liability for up to £10,000,000.

Do you have an up to date DBS?

Yes Adrian Catch has a current DBS certificate. (the old CRB check).

Any other things to consider?

To help the party or event be a real success the following information is well worth a read!!!

A parking space is required as close to the venue as possible to enable us to unload some heavy equipment.

A power point will be needed close to where the entertainment and sound system is being set up.

A nice idea is to hang balloons along with banners on the outside of the hall so the guests (and entertainer) can easily find the venue!

Think about hanging all other balloons from the wall or ceiling until the end of the party rather than having them lying around the floor as balloons can be very distracting.

If you have party blowers please keep them in the party bags until the end of the party – believe me you’ll thank me for that one!!!

Also if hiring a Bouncy Castle as well as having an entertainer it really helps to deflate the castle when the entertainer is performing – for a child the lure of a bouncy castle really is hard to resist and having kids bouncing around whilst trying to keep their attention isn’t very easy!
